Calcium treatment can reduce the qutity of sulphide impurities,change its composition and properties, improve steel cleanliness, the uneven phenomenon of calcium silicon powder can cause an unstable yield in practice. Also the happening of oxidizing reaction is influenced by the contact area .Due to calcium silicon powder's large involvement , the oxidizing reaction is much more likely to happen than solid ca cored wire.
