According to the export volume, export volume of FeW was 72.4mt in 2013, down by 84.24% Y-O-Y (459.3mt in 2012). While the customs data remained low, China’s real export volume was much more than that. And the export situation reflected the serious problem of China’s FeW smuggling.

The other countries import data in 2012 showed that: Japan imported 189mt, Korea imported 158mt, Holland imported 20mt, USA imported 172mt, Germany imported 501mt, Australia imported 235mt, Azarchs Tan imported 996mt, Taiwan imported 145mt, Ukraine imported 53mt and France imported 146mt. As the import data showed, the total volume of FeW should be 3018mt while China’s customs data was only 459.3mt, which means over 2500mt FeW was exported illegal.
The import data in 2013 was not integrated. However, according to some data we got, the import volume from Japan, Korea, Holland and USA was already more than 1,500mt. China’s export volume was only 72.4mt, which was much less than the actual volume.
FeW smuggling was harmful to China’s FeW industry. The export business in domestic normal enterprises was hard to do under the situation. According to the Tariff implementation plan in 2014, the export duty in 2014 was still 20%, which made it possible for smugglers to earn high profit. If the smuggling situation went on, the profit of China would be hurt.
