Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry (Meti) predicted that the country’s specialty steel output might jump by 20.8% year on year to reach 5,324,000 tons in October-December.
Also, the figures increased by 4.3% from a quarter ago.
Meanwhile, Meti said that the specialty steel production supplied to domestic market is expected to rise by 15.5% year on year to 3,380,300 tons and that for export market is seen to rise by 31.4% to 1,943,000 tons.
